Welcome to my site! Here you will find all the projects and assignments I've completed throughout the course of this semester. This site is displays all the hard work I've done in regards to Grade 11 English, and shows the gradual expansion of my knowledge and learning from this class
-Reflection-
Throughout the duration of this course, I feel as though I have greatly expanded my knowledge in terms of English. In the beginning, I struggled with some due dates and making sure I had every aspect of the assignment completed. I also felt like I was struggling to come up with strong, convincing points for my paragraphs and essays. I also think I could have improved on my researching skills for certain assignments such as my Political Tyrant Seminar. Despite these minor obstacles in my learning, I know I’ve learned quite a lot from this class. In terms of my work habits, I feel as though I completed my assignments with a consistent amount of effort and attention to detail. For the most part, I stayed on task during work periods and managed my time responsibly with minimal to no error. I tried to work as efficiently as possible and complete my assignments on time and read everything over before handing things in. Despite a few complications, I’ve completed my assignments within the given time with minimal to no error. Over time, I can see my formal writing growing stronger with fewer and fewer errors, but I know there is always more opportunity to learn and expand my knowledge. After practicing it, I can see my brainstorming for essays and paragraphs evolving with each assignment and notice a change in the wording I use in my writing. I’ve worked hard on making stronger points when writing essays and supporting them with relevant evidence. I proof read every assignment to make sure my work made sense and there weren’t any grammatical errors and had my peers and parents read over it as well. In conclusion, I know I still have a lot I can learn in terms of my writing techniques and working habits, but I feel like I have learned so much already just in this semester alone. I have learned important techniques and skills that will be extremely useful to me in future classes, as well as later in life.
